Susan Adkins
Owner/Event Coordinator | Class Act Events
Susan Adkins founded Class Act Events in Salem in 1987 as a single coordinator planning weddings and private events. She has grown the business to its current success with four coordinators organizing weddings, corporate events, large-scale festivals, conferences, non-profit fundraisers, auctions and more throughout Oregon and the United States. Susan’s expertise in the events industry ranges from planning conferences and meetings to managing fundraising procurement strategies and yielding high revenues for non-profit clients. In addition, Susan also acts as a consultant for venue development including rental and booking policies and marketing strategies. Susan was one of the founding members of the Oregon ISES Chapter, served as Chair of the Willamette Valley Assistance League Auxiliary and is currently serving on the S.M.A.R.T. (Start Making a Reader Today) Advisory Council. She loves building community and engaging with clients to ensure all needs and wishes are met.
Blythe Janssen
Event Coordinator | Class Act Events
Blythe Janssen began working for Class Act Events in 2005 as the reunion assistant and has become one of the company's lead coordinators. Acting as the rental and office manager and lead coordinator for many events, Blythe enjoys the structure and organization required while planning auctions and corporate events. However, one of her favorite things about her bridal clients is the relationships she forms with brides and their families. Blythe excels at processing and tracking data, designing registration and other forms as well as decorating the ballroom for her bride’s big day.
